I have been surprised by this. Some very unattractive young women I know still have sex lives from tinder etc. They don't get real relationships but having sex with men who are much better looking gives them the impression that it's possible.

The male incels who have vision are actually in better shape in the long run. If they develop a career and other status they can can attract women in their 20s when they are 30 and older. Provided they become successful, the availability of desired sexual partners will improve whereas the women will ridiculous expectations will be disappointed.
