Left during first break of a shitty manufacturing job when I was in college. Didn't tell anybody.

Threatened to sue them for certain reasons. They offered me a buyout, took it and I walked out. They can keep rolling in their own shite.

It was the best and worst.
I was managing a Men's dept at a clothing chain. We were getting slaughtered by a shoplifting crew and when I and the other managers complained to upper management (since we had no one working security) they hired -and I shite you not- a female midget.
So one day a mall cop and I chase down a shoplifter, the head of the store calls in to say if the guy gives the shorts back then the store would press no charges. The mall cops were pissed and from that day forward took their own sweet time responding to any calls from us.
On my end though, part of my performance evaluation was how much merchandise I lost due to theft (called "shrink" in retail). So my boss had just screwed me by basically letting the shoplifters in the area know that if they get caught and just give the clothes back, they get to walk away free.
I was furious. At the managers' meeting the next day my boss and I got into it and it ended with me throwing my badge at him and telling him to shove it up his arse then walking out.

I used to work for a dry cleaner in high school. The managers a drunk and the woman who worked the press was total white trash. I got yelled at by the manager for not showing up on days I wasent scheduled... I also got yelled at on my second day by the press bitch for leaving shirts buttoned because it made her job harder. It was my fault, but damn...I had literally no idea that it did and she cursed me out in front of customers. I held my tounge and what I knew was going to be my last day spent my whole shift going through every shirt and buttoning every damn button on it. I still smile when I think about the shift that trashy bitch found that. Not shockingly...the place is now out of buisness.

I worked as a UPS driver and bosses said I should deliver faster. On the beginning of the shift, I took the ups truck and drove about 70 miles away. Left the truck there with packages on it.
I quit that day.
I quit that day.

In handcuffs.
Huge riff with a co worker that went too far.
I actually 'retired' after that job and have been self employed since. Charges dropped too.

In college, I held two jobs. One was with a company that bought large quantities of industrial supplies due to the nature of the business. I worked for another company that happened to sell industrial supplies.
The boss at the sales company was a fricking loser. Complete scumbag piece of shite. He used to park his piece of shite BMW (had like 240k miles on it) right in front of the front door every damn day. He would often have huge PO's out to my other company under my name so it looked like he would meet his quotas and would delete the PO's the 1st of each month.
One day we got into an argument because I called him the day before and said I wasn't going to be able to make my shift, I had a project in CM and one of my partners had a death in the family and I had to pick up his work. My boss freaked out and wanted to speak with my professor about when I knew about the project and confirm my entire (truthful) story.
I told him he was overstepping his bounds and that was ridiculous to ask of someone making $8/hr but obliged and forwarded him my curriculum and screen shots of text messages because I had nothing to hide.
Another time there was a bad ice storm that came through in Baton Rouge. I wasn't scheduled to work the day of the storm. Boss at the distributor calls me and said it was urgent and I needed to be in the office. I drove across Baton Rouge and as soon as I got there he left. He said it was "urgent that someone be at the store".
We were already on shaky terms and then the next month I get a call from my boss at the company that purchased large bulks of industrial equipment because he received an invoice on material from me that he never ordered. fricking idiot didn't delete the PO and it kicked to the accounting department.
I went to talk to him about it and he threated to lower my pay. That's the only time I've ever cussed an employer.
I looked him dead in the eyes and said "You know what, why don't you go frick yourself you fricking loser" Turned around and he made a little bitch comment. I kept walking, whipped out my dick and pissed on his car while flipping him off. My brother worked for the same distributor and was able to get a hold of the store's security film.
To this day I'm embarrassed by how much I lost my cool. T
The best part of the story- the Area Manager for the distributor called me and asked why I was leaving and made a pitch for me to stay on. I told him of the unethical practices and the cocksucker GM lost his job.

Can't lie I honestly did this too in my young years

My first job was working at Albertsons, which I did for two summers. When I started working there for the second summer, I told the appropriate people that I was starting school at LSU on a certain date, and could only work Friday nights and weekends after that. They said no problem. Over the course of the summer, I reminded them of the same. They said no problem. When they posted the work schedule which would have been my first week of college, they had me working 35 hours. I went to them and said that I had been telling them over and over what day I was starting LSU, and what times I could work after that. They told me it was the first time I had ever said anything to them about it. I said, "Okay, no problem." I clocked out at the end of that shift, and never went back. Three days later I get a call from them, asking where I've been. I told them "Look, I've been telling you I started school this week!" Same old "we didn't know anything about that" story. So I said I quit. They told me to bring my uniform shirts back. I told them if they wanted them to come get them. I haven't set foot in an Albertsons since. I think I still have those uniform shirts boxed up somewhere, too.

Last day at papa johns. I took a phone call and the woman ordered a thin crust pepperoni and extra Jalapeño pizza. Then she proceeded to bitch me out about how the last time she didn’t get extra and there was gonna be hell to pay if she didn’t get extra this time. I told her I understand and that I would personally make the pizza for her. Sauced up the crust, laid down the pepperoni and then got a brand new institutional sized jug of Jalapeño peppers and dumped everything on her pizza.. juice and peppers and put it in the oven. Clocked out. I hope she shite fire for a week.

A buddy of mine asked me if I wanted to earn some money doing roofing work the summer after I graduated high school. In case you don’t know, NOLA is fricking HOT during the summer and being on the roof makes it worse. By 10am my shoes started melting so at lunch I told my buddy I had to go get new pair. I never showed back up to the job site. I decided at that day to join the Army so I could go to college.

When I was fifteen I worked a summer job at a little restaurant washing dishes, cleaning and doing all of the jobs no one else wanted to do. The guy who owned it was also a youth minister at a local church and he was a huge dick to me. I always thought it was because I wouldn’t go to his church but I don’t really know why. Maybe he was just a dick.
In between lunch and dinner he was the only guy there with me. He would ring up customers and I would make their food and run it out and basically do everything while he yelled at me to do it faster. I took my break before the afternoon clean up list was to begin. I went to the bathroom.....shite in the middle of the floor, wiped my arse, walked out without saying a word and rode my bike home.
He called my dad and I got bitched out about it and dad wouldn’t let me pick up my last paycheck. But now, 25 years later my dad thinks it’s funny. I kind of think it was a horrible thing to do now....but at that time, he was really a huge dick to me...so I felt it was justified to make him clean up my shite

I worked at a golf course just before college, my boss had a very bad gambling problem. He was on a losing streak for two weeks and making everyone's life hell. The last day I was there he lost a big bet online, gave me they keys to the entire clubhouse and told me to close up at dark, it was 2pm when he left. I let everyone that came in that evening play a free round, and when I was the only one left I drove every cart in the sand trap on 18 and left.

Going into it I was looking forward to seeing the bridge/road side of civil construction. Then I found out they hire everyone in as a "Safety Manager" so that they dont have to keep an actually trained Safety Man onsite. Little to no regard for human lives. Truly amazing they dont kill more people.
Straw that broke my back was the way they ran the Crane Ops. 90% of the operators didnt speak a lick of English or understand universal hand signaling. No lift plans were made, they would just hook up and hope the crane held the load. Almost every crane aside from the 110T had derricks that were twisted from overweight picks. Day before I left a guy on my crew rode a concrete pile about 15ft into the air because the operator didnt wait for him to jump off after hooking it up.
Absolutely terrible safety culture at that company from the top down
Wow. I would think hiring a few safety managers would cost less than the overall cost of killing somebody

I don't have any any cool stories like you other baws but when I was in college I got a temp job and the temp company told me it would be a warehouse job. Well I go in and it is for Walmart's warehouse and my job was to unload the pallets into the walmart semi truck by hand. It was a crew of like 5 or 7 guys with me doing it and I think we were unloading a pallet of microwaves or something to start the day off with. All these guys have on back braces and shite and I'm like, what the frick is this bullshite they got me into. So we get to take a break in the morning, and I walk to the coke machine, grab a drink and walk the frick out of there. I never got paid for those few hours I worked, but I was not about to be some lift bitch for walmart.

Not my fault but I showed up to work one morning and the Feds had chained our front door shut
Figured it was time to start looking elsewhere
While doing a high school job at a glass company had an ole baw get fired, he put a lb of hamburger meat up in the springs of a work truck seat. Dead of summer, it stunk to high heaven until we found it
