re: The World's Largest Swing...would you do it?

Well I was on one of the longest zip lines in the world over this huge gorge in Costa Rico, 1000s of feet maybe 10,000 it was long mfer. I am not a huge guy but solid 200 pounds or 21/2 Costa Ricans. The guy in front of me was probably 240 and with his weight he picked up some much speed it nearly broke his leg at the end, so the next guy looks at me and we are both thinking we ain’t doing that shite so he goes and hits brakes too much and gets stuck 500 feet from the end. They go ahead and retrieve little kids but adults you are on your own. The thing has a big bend in it so if you don’t have enough speed so have you basically hand climb out. it’s not easy or fun. i could tell even that far away I didn’t want to do that.

So I got it “not too fast but don’t stop.” i take off and for some reason I am going way way too fast and I can tell, I try to ease the brake on gently to slow it down but as I do so my damn crock slips off the brake hits the wire and it actually cuts off a chuck of it, causing me to come to stop a little past the middle of the mfer. (It said waterfalls, some zip lines etc, so I wore Crocks not realizing it was a 2 hour climb up a damn mountain and giant zip lines first) So i had to hand craw 1000s of feet to the end, over a 5,000 foot drop which took about 10-15 minutes, and I left like I was going to freaking have a heart attack.

So would could possibly go wrong with these death trap.
