Nurse said both pupils were dilated. Which of course means massive head trauma in this case. Almost surely not conscious. Her body was taking its last breaths when the nurse got to her but she was for all intents and purposes dead.

I might be spoiled being in the US. But when bunging is it common to pick a person up and throw them off the bridge

I think I read that was an option she paid extra for. And I'm not kidding. It was called the Superman experience or something.

This has not been a good week for human flight. The b-52 just happened too

Well one of them yelled “sh*t” when they realized what happened so there’s that.

Just looked her up. She basically made a full recovery (relative to her incident and injuries) and would go on to sky dive again. What a gal.

Most people who grew up in the western world are perfectly aware of English swear words and use them because they hear them in music and movies all the time.

This is wild to me. Maybe I’m just a paranoid guy, and I hate being in a plane, much less bungee jump…but if I were to do it, I feel like I would be pulling the cord and checking the harness and attachment myself before taking the plunge.

There are a few stories from WW2 of tail gunners surviving when the tail section was cut from the rest of the plane and they floated down in it. Surprisingly few injuries. And another story of a crewman who fell without a chute and survived. He crashed through a ceiling and it slowed him down enough to survive. The Germans were shocked. He had major injuries but survived and lived a long life.

Does any bungee facility in the world rely on 2 people picking you up over their heads and running to throw you???

How was it possible to do that? One of those 3 guys job is to make sure the bungee is attached.

Probably looked like one of those mass shootings where one of the many agencies always blames the other for not doing the one thing they are supposed to do.

One of the craziest things I have ever seen. I know it’s the guy’s responsibility, but if I’m the girl, I make damn sure I’m tied up before I let them Paul Skenes me off a fricking bridge.
