Watching the COVID religion in a tailspin is just insane
Last week NYT and Slate came out with articles about not wearing masks outside, and these true believers (most with masks in their profile pictures) absolutely lost their shite.
When you recognize that COVID filled a void in their life (religious-like adherence, deity figures, being able to make yourself "good" and others "bad") and that it's ending, it makes more sense. They're genuinely kicking and screaming like children who have toys taken away.
