So every economist was right about the tariffs. huh interesting
Really. What was their solution- become completely, 100% dependent upon China for all manufacturing/supply chain needs?
If so, that's not a "plan".
Continuing down that road is a piss poor option that will eventually lead to self-deletion. And I assure you they have no plan for that.

Oh no! you can only but 12 useless things this Christmas rather than 36. Damn.
Posted on 11/26/25 at 9:23 am to ragincajun03
Someone told us how to simplify Christmas. Buy a want, buy a need, buy a book. Then celebrate why you have the holiday in the first place. Seems to have worked out so far.

And if by some miracle we did, it's literally wealth redistribution. A Bernie Sanders plan. Taxing the rich and giving to the poor.
I'm not sure what you're trying to prove. Are you of the opinion that conservatives think Trump is a fiscal conservative?

Crazy how not continuing something that was inserted solely to help with a pandemic five years ago is now a talking point to beat the other side over the head with.
Indeed. We're watching the Tytler quote play out in real time.

Prices will come down if people stop paying the current cost.

A single payer system would have been nice.

Reuters is at this point just openly anti-Trump propaganda.
They have completely abandoned objectivity and run hit pieces like the one quoted from and this type of journalism has become their MO.
You don't hate the press enough

We manufacture, a hell of a lot. We offshore shite that pays min wage and require little to no skill.

So it’s the Presidents fault that the greedy manufacturers offshored manufacturing - to the detriment of our economy - and now it’s ALSO the Presidents fault for attempting to fix the problem?
attempting to fix the problem and bring back jobs through regressive tariffs? what a fricking dumb idea. anyone that has any economic sense knew they would be a failure.
