I fricking hate Delta due to them fricking over Memphis a new a-hole. That used to be a great little airport with direct flights to Amsterdam, Paris, and Cabo. Now Delta only has about 50 flights a day to Atlanta, and a few to Minneapolis and Salt Lake City. Memphis is now one of the most expensive airports in the country to fly into thanks to this, and that's the closest airport to my parents. frick Delta Airlines.

Plus, Southwest needs to up their international routes.

This plus their lack of upgraded seats and no service to some markets keeps me flying Delta and United for business. I’m platinum on both this year.

Unless your leaving out on a 6 am flight there is never a crowd there. The DTW, LAX and ATL early flights are the fullest of the day.

They didn’t just frick over Memphis. They fricked over every city that connected in Memphis.

They now have to go to Atlanta.

Delta needs a hub in Texas. Or they need to bring hub service back to MEM.

I am all for Delta coming back to Memphis. I dread connecting through ATL. DTW isn’t that bad though.

Met my wife in a Memphis airport bar. When you have game, you don't need crowds

I met a hot older slut in the Memphis airport. True story, we went into the parking garage (back in the days before 9/11 when you could come and go through security) and we found a dark corner and knocked one out, rather quickly as I remember.

You sure seem to be mad about Charlotte being a hub. My brother/law flys 777s for AA out of Charlotte, and it seems to be an important hub for the airline. Majority of east coast base pilots fly out of the airport and live in the area. I am sure the weather has a lot to do why it is a major hub (with I’m betting tax incentives, etc).

I flew in for the LSU/Ole Miss game a couple of years ago and was amazed. We went to find food and walked to the wrong terminal and asked by 20 gates with nobody.

Also you can get bbq nachos in Memphis airport. It’s worth a stopover.

When it costs over $300 to fly from Nola to Memphis then you’ve got a problem

Should be just as cheap as flights to HOU, FLL, and ATL

Memphis had a great empty Delta lounge.

Those old Northwest lounges they acquired were some of my favorites. DTW had a fantastic one.

Sounds like a great airport.

It's really not. The crowds (when they were still a hub), generally crappy amenities, low ceilings through most of it, and the ugly brown brick made it one of the most depressing major airports in the US. Probably second only to Kansas City in terms of disappointing airports in major cities. It's only redeeming quality was the Sky Club where you poured your own drinks.

They used to sell Corky's BBQ Nachos at Ole Miss games. Best ball game food ever!

I've been to this airport so many times.

I'll never forget flying out of there after 9/11 and being scared to death at the military presence in the airport.

Charlotte may be my most hated airport in the country. If you land on the end of B and have to go to the end of E to make a 40 minute connection, good fricking luck. Denver isn't far behind it, but given the fact that they seemingly designed it on Hell meets Auschwitz, you can't fault them for it.

New Orleans’s airport was 12 million last year and growing this year. Sad to hear about Memphis.
