This morning on some news show on tv there was a report that there was a 77% drop in cases in the past 6 weeks.

WHomever it was stated that it HAD to be partially due to some natural immunity and NOT to vaccines.

And us conservatives were mocked when we said this would disappear right after the election.

The only reason Positivity Rate in Caddo Parish went up (9.5% from 5.7%) so drastically is because it included the first three days of Snowmageddon, which I'm sure only included tests on cases that showed up at a hospital. So next week will probably be somewhere between 5-7%, then after that, will hopfully be below 5%, unless the "snow storm spike" hits

We’re soon going to see a big decline in hospitalization and deaths

More than half of the over 70 population has been vaccinated and that is where the majority of the deaths have been

Saw in his town hall JBE stated that they know there are more cases, but people aren't getting tested any longer.

So, expect the next change to go from actual tests to some sort of modeling showing believed percent positive.

He also says he attributes his lack of catching covid to his regiment of strict masking.

He forgot that he didn't wear a mask for the first 4-6 months of this pandemic.

What about his staffer who tested positive and the lady in his office (was she a staffer) who died? DId they strictly wear masks? If so, then do they really work??? /sacrasm with the question

Thread from Advocate story about LP not getting tested

From the article in the linked thread

quote:

“They’re above 10% (percent positivity), and they’ve been consistently above 10% for a very long time. It’s not like they suddenly had a burst of infection that’s shown up in their community. It’s a persistent, chronic under-detection.

says it has been "a very, very long time" since he was able to report no new COVID-19 deaths in a 24-hour period. He says last time that was true was March 22, 2020. #lalege #lagov
