Well just a year ago we watched a bunch of cops stand outside a classroom getting hand sanitizer while a gunman inside murdered all the kindergarteners, so not sure why this is surprising.
It’d be a different story if he was trying to get to a golf tournament.

so, is the cop climbed the ladder, saw the shooter, shooter pointed rifle at him, officer retreated down ladder story true at all?

There’s pretty much no defending that. A 70 year old woman in that video spotted him but we have billions of dollars of intel and resources and couldn’t stop that moron.

I just can't possibly think the SS was just that incompetent to not secure arguably the most likely spot for something like this, for guns to be pointed at the shooter for upwards of a minute, and for random good citizens figuring out what was going on before SS did or could take action.
I'm not sure what would possibly be the plausible explanation even if the explanation is SS failed that would be remotely a believable scenario.

I’m 100% with you. But a 130 yard shot simply would never be missed by an inside job. Only thing that allows me to accept this is gross and absolute incompetence

Most people already believe the JFK assasination was a conspiracy, but can you imagine if the Zapruder film showed multiple people pointing to the window at the book depository and telling the SS and police that a man with a rifle was there for 3 minutes before the motorcade arrived? There would be no more questioning it.

Of course not. It was a deliberate act by the shooter. Multiple people screwed up and miscommunicated leading to the confusion which resulted in the shooter being able to take a shot at Trump. If only one of those mistakes doesn't happen then they catch this guy before he's ever a threat.
