You are as fawked up on the right side of the spectrum as the dems on the left. You actually pull for a thuggish tyrant in Putin and have some feeling in your heart for his cause. I don't get it. You'd probably be the same way if Putin invaded the Baltics and perhaps Poland. It used to be theirs so it should be theirs.

Yall act like Ukraine is equally to blame for this. Russia invaded the Ukraine and wants to take it over. The Ukrainians are simply defending themselves. Of course Ukraine wants peace, they are at a huge disadvantage with a much smaller population. Russia knows the U.S. is tiring of spending money and as soon as we stop helping Russia will win the war and do with Ukraine whatever the hell they want. Russia,(Putin) does not want peace.

Well his campaign rhetoric certainly has not matched reality. And wthl a little more pushback from Russia, he will fold the US tent. I will chalk that up as a loss.

This has nothing to do with liking Putin or Russia. This has everything to do with the Deepstate/ Neocons/Globalist/One World Government type of people that need to be eliminated. Whoever is willing to do that, I have no problems with. It is not a hard concept to understand.

FIFY. We walked away from a S Vietnam that was doing just fine holding its own (AFTER we pulled out troops) until we started cutting aid in 1974. The South basically ran out of ammunition and fuel at that point.
History doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme. Like Vietnam, there were half a dozen chances to end this early, or even stop it from happening altogether, but US governmental ineptitude missed them. At least this time, we have been wise enough not to put boots on the ground.
I hate what Putin wants to do, but I see no way this war is winnable without extremely high risk of escalation into a Great Power War.
