Where are the fathers?
That is the heartbreaking question I was asked by a DRE teaching religion to a class of fatherless teenagers in Oak Cliff, Texas bout 10 years ago. She asked that question as a tear was running down her right cheek.
So where are the fathers you ask? The same place where the traditional family is. Dismantled and scattered by the progressive liberals, the militant feminist, media, and especially progressive liberal intelligentsia.
The destruction of the institution of fatherhood was deliberate and diabolical.
Tragic!

That picture you posted is the reason why the left works so hard to make that "the democrats back then are the republicans now" revisionist history stick.

I'm the board chair of a charter school in Memphis, and one of the main things I do is head up an appeal hearing for parents to appeal a kid's expulsion from our school. I've probably done about 10-12 of them the last few years, and only one time has a father shown up. In fact, more often than not it's the grandmother who shows up and is the kid's main guardian. It's pretty sad

Are these types of numbers normal? Or do I just have an extremely jaded view of the world?

Unwed mother is not a synonym for single parent, especially now

it is not only a problem in black communities. How much longer can a society glorify womanizing, illegal drug use, and sexual perversions and survive?
How many white “married” families are having kids where dad is addicted to porn and mom is addicted to Facebook/instagram/etc.?
It is a problem.
Great post OP.

I really don't know, that's over the last 3 years I would say. Not every kid expelled appeals, so there were a few more expulsions than that. Compared to other charters and district schools we are strict on discipline; there are probably many expulsion worthy things happening frequently that never go reported because you lose funding with each kid you lose

Surprise, surprise. Another thread blaming black men for the problems in Baton Rouge. Maybe if more of you white guys would have sex with African American women we could actually see a reduction in these numbers. Try doing something instead of just complaining.
Help a population that receives excess government handouts with every kid they have? That population you’re referring to has no inclination of wanting to change. In reference to BR, most notably NBR, the place is beyond saving. Has been that way for years, and will continue to spiral downhill for many more decades to come.

Has anyone considered that maybe we should stop paying them to reproduce?

The original post has nine downvotes but no comments that challenge it. Would anybody who disagrees like to correct it or tell us where it’s wrong ?

Yes. And the more it happens, the more it becomes normal, and the more it repeats itself.

I agree and it’s getting to where a lot of white kids are facing this same issue.

It may be a problem but it is not THE problem. It is more a symptom of larger problems within society.
