It was a decorators poor man pocket door. They are the worst for bathrooms. Closet or pantry door u can see but bathrooms, He’ll No!

huh? i don't go find another bathroom to shite in for "her", i do it for me.... hotel bathroom don't exactly have great ventilation, so i choose to not shite in my own bathroom, if i can help it, so i'm not stanking up the entire room for the entirety of the stay....

They were putting barn doors in all the new custom homes in Southern Nevada.
I don't think I saw or installed any to a toilet/water closet. But tons of houses install them going into walk in closets, master baths, pantries and formal dining rooms or offices.
Manufacturers finally got smart and dadoed out a notch in the bottom of the door slabs so the bottom ran on a single guide and not those rollers.
Manufacturers need to do the same with pocket doors. Those things always have issues

I put a barn door in my en suite and yes i gate the noise it makes. It did allow more use of space though.

Last time we where in Austin, the hotel we stayed at had one. The wife some how got it off the track. So in the middle of the night I had to fix it. I was pissed.

The Orlando Margaritaville Resort has these, infuriated me. And there wasn't a vent fan over the toilet, it was in the adjacent bathroom, so whatever stink was left in the toilet room stayed there for a long time.
