4 It does alienate the family concept. Even in its heyday, you don’t bring the family in for beer n wings to ogle a skimply dressed server. No. You don’t.....unless you’re tacky AF.

It isnt risqué anymore. About 40% of my covers are families at this point. Not sure where the article gets their info from. Aside from closing some bad stores the overall revenue is increasing at higher rate than others in our industry, covid aside.

Both Hooters and Twin Peaks shut down in jackson in the last two years. No plans to reopen in another site either.

This is the results of the participation trophy, man buns, soy milk and all the other pussy stuff that is the norm today. Men should be allowed to appreciate tits and arse while eating. I didn’t eat there often as a kid, but occasionally my dad and I would go and I knew what it was for, to enjoy the possible half way decent views of T and A. Same with my kids we go maybe once or twice a year and they get it. I don’t think my wife has ever been, but she gets it and jokes about it when we go etc. The majority of this country has turned into soft losers that I really have no use for

A buddy of mine took his 12 year old son to lunch and suggested Hooters. The boy didn’t want to go there, and when the dad asked why, the son said, “I feel sorry for those girls.”
And THAT’s what’s wrong with Hooters. It’s the same thing that’s wrong with strip clubs. They are demeaning, and they depend on girls with low self-esteem as waitresses and men with low self-esteem as customers.
I expect this to dredge up the “soy” and “gay” comments, but it’s not about that at all; it’s about self-respect.
And THAT’s what’s wrong with Hooters. It’s the same thing that’s wrong with strip clubs. They are demeaning, and they depend on girls with low self-esteem as waitresses and men with low self-esteem as customers.

Way off. The job isn't any different than what they do on their social media for attention. If anything is demeaning it is the way that people treat them. We all know how the men can be but the worst is the middle aged women. They will attack an 18 year old girl as a person. I have to train for that more than how to deal with shitty men
