Thank you soooo much. Man y'all are just full of compliments today. Yes, I am pretty proud that my progeny have, of their own accord and despite their grandmothers concerted efforts to undermine their parents, to reject superstition, hatred and irrational fear. Based on the fact that most of you are scared to speak your minds and are oppressed due to your own fears if any of you were to think I was a good dad and my kids weren't retarded, gay loving heathens I would have to rethink some things....but the anger on display here is proof of our having made the right decisions with allowing our kids to form their own opinions without shaming them into conforming to the ignorance that is and always has caused so much grief and pain in the world...

I try not to use it because I know it can be hurtful to some folks. I just say that something is a little left handed instead of saying that it's gay or retarded.

There are almost no words that one can not say in the United States. Fire in a crowded theater is one that comes to mind....but anyone is free to stand on the street corner and say any kind of racial epithet or similarly disgusting words and there ain't a thing in the world other common sense preventing it.
If someone does indeed decide to do just that and someone attacks them physically that someone should of course be arrested for physically assaulting someone over words...although there are such things as "fighting" words, like someone calling your wife the C word, which have been upheld in court decisions....but we are and have been free to say just about anything we want. Doing so may be unpleasant but if it is something one really and truly wants to do they should just do it....repressed emotions are unhealthy.

I’ve used it when chatting up a girl - when she asks what I do…I say I work with retards. You have to say it seriously and not laugh until they do though. It’s a very high risk / high reward move.
