One of my favorite memories as a child was going to the Piccadilly in the old Bon Marche after or before shopping. The child's Satellite plate was tough to beat. This was back when they still had the porters in red coats carrying trays to the table.

What the OT would appreciate, is all types would eat at Piccadilly, but people didn't act trashy. White, black, blue or white collar, the place was respectable.

One of my many many guilty pleasures. Chicken Fried steak and fried okra all damn day.

Just don't go on a Sunday after church lets out unless you want to see extreme fashion; zoot suits and giant flamboyant hats that block out the sun.

My paw paw used to take me to the one on Plank Rd all of the time as a kid.

Give me the liver and onions, okra and mac&cheese please, ma'am.

No, no gravy.

Wheat roll, please.

I sure thank you.

chicken fried steak with the white gravy on the side. If I'm really feelin like a fatty, I'll throw in one of those delicious salmon patties too.

Chicken Fried Steak in 80s and 90s over the frozen shite they serve today. It hasn't been "on point" for quite some time....but it used to be. Now Piccadilly is an overpriced salt fest. But enjoy it all you want along with all the other 80 year olds.

The originators of the purple drank. Loved some Picadilly in Cortana.

Cortana was the best one. It went to shite in the end though. (much like the mall itself and Piccadilly today)

Just like anything though, cutting corners with the food quality and trying to go cheap cost them business and their brand suffered for it. It used to be a great alternative to fast food for a family to eat out. It hasn't been that for a long, long time.

For the love of God please bring back the old Italian dressing, not the wishbone shite from a bottle!

Damn straight. I loved their chicken fried steak. We ate there once a week for nearly 20 years then then around the early 2000's the quality of food started to decline and now its really hit or miss and sometimes downright awful.
