Welp, that’s it. Once your city is grouped in with Memphis, it’s officially fricked.

Yeah because Baton Rouge has been so terrific before now.

I’ll only eat at Morrison’s Cafeteria in Metairie.

Isn't there one in Gonzales? I use to work near it.. Well it wasn't a drive-thru, but you could call in an order and there was a section where you would go in just for pickup orders.

Our baseball team stopped in one in Alex on the way to BR for the HS quarterfinals. They claimed I tried to steal Melba toast, which I thought came for free. I've forever held it against the chain.

Haven't been in years but loved the chicken fried steak.

However, my absolute favorite was a pot pie with real biscuits on top. Unbelievably good. For some reason, they seemed to have quit making it with the biscuits though. Sad.

Gotta love the OT. Everything is trashy and everyone is rich, but so help you if you bash muh Piccadilly.

I guess there's certain topics where you just can't help but reveal the trashy truth.

I miss me some Piccadilly, it has been years since the one in Houma folded up.

It was always an experience especially, in my early years when you paid after you ate and granny was there at the exit cash register. Way back then when you got change there was a machine that spit out your change by pressing the appropriate number. Also, the one in Houma had an inside fountain.

Many Rotary clubs and social groups had lunch meetings in its back room.

I remember eating at Piccadilly at Delmont Village years ago. Had the opportunity to meet coach Pete Richardson.

Delmont Village, late 80's, Plank Road after mass at St. Gerard. Etouffee and the conveyor belt for dirty dishes. Loved it as a kid!

I have fond memories of Piccadilly. I went there for the first time in years a couple of months ago and it was downright terrible. I was very disappointed.

I went there last Sunday after church...chicken fried steak, Green beans, and carrot soufflé. I used to get pissed as a kid because my Mom wouldn’t let me get the jello cubes...I guess we was po’.

These are still things?

Had one in Lakeland when I was in HS(10 years ago).

I loved it. Got bought out by some shite Chinese buffet and I've never seen a piccadillys since.

Man I used to love Piccadilly. The mac and cheese was the best, but I heard they changed the recipe and it's not as good anymore. I remember when I was old enough to move up to the dilly dish from the child's plate, then finally I was able to get the super dilly dish just to get the two mac and cheese sides. *sighs* those were the days
