I’m assuming your adopted mom had no idea you had a twin? Was your bio mom at all able to confirm any of the details as far as location and the hospital name and what not? I’d assume so?
I hope this is a great day and works out to be great for you. Pretty crazy day for you.
Sounds like your twin sister had a crazy couple of teen years and she may be incredibly relieved to have found you?
Eta: adopted mom not bio mom

It is impossible for his bio mom to not know about the twin...

Is that just coincidence they worked at the same hospital or did the ER RN find your sister laying in the lobby and said "I wanna adopt this cute bundle of joy!"? Small world either way eh?

Yeah my bad I obviously meant adopted mom. It’s not impossible though, certainly very unlikely I agree.

Exactly.

Good luck. One of our family friends grew up not knowing her dad. She reached out a few years ago to find out if there were any illnesses, etc and he shut down communication completely as he has a family. I know she was gutted. Hopefully you can find new relationships with your biological family

You should check out the movie Three Identical Strangers. You might be part of an experiment.

Considering the average person is pretty trashy, nothing good can come from this. She'll find out you're her long-lost brother, start wanting to hang out with you all the time with her trashy friends, and spend all your money.
Before long you'll be covered in tats and trying to quit meth but only halfheartedly.

If she didn't, she'd be dfintlyHmmrd.

Damn, Owlvis, you're rolling. Your posts in the heart attack thread and the Coolidge thread made me laugh too. I just couldn't say it in either of those.

My dad found out he was adopted when he was 39. His aunt accidentally let it slip at a family gathering. He never found or met up with them before he died. I recently discovered and got into contact with them through 23andme. It's been amazing getting to know this whole other family and history. This will hopefully be an awesome experience for you.

A good friend of mine was recently in a similar situation. He always knew he was adopted but never knew who his real father was. So he started doing research and I think took a DNA test also and he found out that his dad was black. He has really embraced it and has visited with his half-sisters that he didn't know he had. It's been really good.
His wife is originally from N. Fla. outside of Tallahassee and her mom still lives down there. So they Facetimed her to tell her the news because he wanted to see her reaction. She was very accepting, I don't care if you're green, you love my daughter and treat her well, etc. etc. Then she says, "You're not going to tell everybody are you?"
