Do real people ever wear this, or is this just the way they indicate that someone is a “regular guy” in TV commercials? I don’t notice people wearing this in real life, but maybe I’m just missing it.

If I’m being honest, it annoys me.

Why does this annoy you? Why do you care what other dudes are wearing.

I don’t know if a lot of dudes sport this look because what other dudes wear doesn’t even register for me.

Apparently you missed when depressing hipster grunge dethroned hair bands.

Bro. My 20 year old undershirt is the most comfortable piece of clothing in my wardrobe... Second is my 20 year old flannel. Sometimes I want the ultimate comfort when it is brisk outside.

Not sorry for living life in comfort. You should try it.

Exactly. I’m a girl. Lots of guys do this. It’s never bothered me.

I did this look about 20 years ago. I don't think it was a good look then either.

People who live fulfilling lives don't care about things like this. In fact most likely don't even notice it.

My advice is to look for ways to improve your own life and you too can not be bothered by trivial things.

Either way good luck.

They do this on every teen show my nieces watch. Except it's usually an Oxford button down unbuttoned over a contrasting color t shirt. Have never seen a teenage boy wearing this ensemble, but every teen boy on tv does

I used to back in the day. I've largely replaced that vibe with a zip fleece or a hoodie in more modern times. But, late 80s, early 90s?
