I tell the risks/unknown if beneficial for Covid-19 to the patient And let them decide then I chart that I discussed risks and patient chose they want to take HCQ, they are acknowledge risks and still want to try it

OT: 99.998% of people will not die from Covid.
Also OT: My anecdotal evidence of someone taking hydroxychloriquine and not dieing is proof that it works and that this is all an election related hoax.

This has all been so politicized. I have never been so disappointed in our country than I am now. There are hundreds of drugs that can be dispensed touting all sorts of unproven claims (see Alzheimer's medications) and no state's Department of health is going to explicitly prohibit a particular drug.
But, just let one person on the other side of the aisle tout it, then all hell breaks loose.

This right there. I am not a doctor and couldn't tell you the first thing about HCQ. However, I am fairly confident you would not see these measures if Trump had never mentioned this drug for treatment.

All of our residents who tested positive were put on it — most were pretty sick. 65% of these are still with us. I didn’t think that number would be that high.

We pumpled the hydro, zinc, azythro coctail like a mother fricker to all high risk patients on day one at my system
Didnt change mortality rates for them at all
Also, I am MAGA as frick and think the lockdown is stupid. But hyrdoxchloroquine aint the drug that is working. We stopped using it completely
Now, I dont think it should be banned. Truth is, in an outpatient setting with the normal population, you can give them pop tarts and jolly ranchers as treatment and they will survive 99.9% of the time
