I like it, and Jefferson's is legit AF

Alexander’s has a loyalty/points program, and they are a family run local store with one location. Also gave members of that program first dibs at their Blanton’s barrel pick this week. Seems fairly simple. Different business models I guess.

So you dislike raffles in general.

I don't like the way they handle their bourbon raffle. They don't take care of people that shop there all year. People flock in that don't patron their store all year and walk out with top bottles. I'm against that.
Are you saying they should rig the raffle in favor of people who shop there all year to give them better odds? That would be a terrible idea because of the negative backlash it would cause if word ever got out, not to mention it sounds like something that would be illegal.

Wayyyyy too busy with other things throughout the year to do a loyalty program.

!00% bullshite, it takes very little time, maybe 15 minutes out of 352 day calendar to create a program for the regs who spend money there.

And being lazy about not taking care of regs, and then hiding behind charity is really wonky.

I'm old school. Jim Beam, ice, splash of coke and a splash of water for the first two. Then just JB on ice for the rest of the bottle.

Was given two 750 bottles of Gentlemen Jack yesterday. Might be the ticket for the Saints game today.

We like raising money for charity. End of story. Loyalty programs don’t do that.

Robert, I’m glad Alexander’s makes you happy. It seems like you needed it in your life. Their raffle the past few years has been nothing short of a dumpster fire.

We are very appreciative of all of our loyal customers. You don’t survive 80 years without them. There’s not enough juice to reward each and every one. This is the fairest way to do it in our opinion. I’m sorry some people don’t like it

We raised 37,000 dollars in ONE day for a great charity that gives scholarships to soldiers and their families. We saw scholarships being handed to kids at a banquet a month ago. It’s a great feeling to do something like that for people who give everything to defend people that want loyalty programs

The distillery likes the way we do things, our distributors like the way we do things and 99% of our customers do as well.

Charter FTW. Inexpensive and gets the job done. If you don't think people will drink it, take three or four handles to deer camp and leave them on the table.

you've lost tens of thousands of dollars of annual business over the raffle

No skin off your back, I'm sure. Oak Point and Alexander's thank you very much for the extra business.
