Unfortunately, media doesn’t go back and apologize or retract a false story, and the liars who come up with these hoaxes fade away into obscurity.

There were like 50 'trump supporters attacked x' stories floating around during the election. The most famous was the muslim in New York(?) whose parents shaved her head as punishment for lying or something hilarious.

Oh, I forgot. There were 10-ish church fires all within like a 2 week period. Turns out 4-5 were lightning strikes. Some were electrical fires. And I think 1 was arson (started by a black member of the church.)

This has been the justification for democrats to roll out their despicable public smear campaigns. The United States Senate literally said that they don't care about presumption of innocence when a man is accused of being a gang rapist. If that's how you really feel, then that tells me that you have no interest in pursuing those charges outside the confirmation hearing. Which, in turn, means that this is just a stunt and not meant to "get the justice the victim deserves". I'm really blown away when people roll out statements like "believe all women" or when a sitting senator impugns 100 million citizens in one blanket statement.
Sorry, but I've never heard of a job interview where almost half the interviewers are actively trying to not only make sure you don't get the job, but are also trying to ruin your career and personal life in the process.
