Here's the actual conspiracy theory.
The left wing media was desperate to point attention away from a crazy Marxist because deep down they were conflicted. They loved the progressive JFK but they couldn't believe one of their own killed him.
They started ginning up any theory they could find to point attention away from Oswald and put it on any right-winger they could find, including CIA/military/oil men and generally conservative mafiosos.
A communist killed their hero and they couldn't accept it.

May have been (I will take your word for it), but that wasn't what I was basing his culpability on.

Hale Boggs was the only dissenting member of the Warren Commission. When he made the trip to Alaska, he was taken to the airport by a young congressional staffer named William Jefferson Clinton.
Clinton was still in law school then.

When I was at LSU in 90s one of my bosses at pt job told us this story.
He was a college student at SMU when Kennedy was shot. He said back then they had an evening paper. One of his friends had gotten one of the rare evening papers. They were eating at a diner downtown and reading the paper. Nobody else was in the place except one man that sat in a booth by himself. The man came over and asked if he could look at the classified section of the paper. They said sure. He took it for a few minutes and brought it back. Few min later he came over and asked if he could see it again…he did this a couple of times. Finally when he returned it the last time he told them he really appreciated it and if they ever wanted to come to his club to come see him and gave them his card. It was Jack Ruby.

Well the evidence points to Oswald acting alone unless you count all the false information as "evidence". Read the book "Case Closed" by Gerald Posner. Posner set out to prove it was a conspiracy and after several years of research concluded just the opposite. That Oswald acted alone. Good read with footnotes showing where all his info came from.
I have always been an Oswald acted alone guy. All the hundreds of other theories just don’t have any weight, and Oswald had an opportunity and took it. HOWEVER, I recently listened to a podcast that details the book Mortal Error by Bonner Menninger that goes into excruciating detail about how LHO acted alone but got an accidental assist from the Secret Service
Oswald fires two shots from 6th floor and a rookie Secret Service agent named George Hickey heard shots, readied his weapon, stood up from his position in the car immediately behind limo, ready to engage but as the car moved forward he falls back and fired his weapon. Completely Magoo’ing The whole thing. You can imagine how it made Oswald freak out when, from his snipers nest, he sees a third shot destroy the presidents head, giving him his “patsy” defense.
A cover up not a conspiracy makes a shite ton of sense on why the government had to be cagey about the whole thing.
Im not ready to say this is my official position, but it’s the only one, outside of Oswald alone, that makes sense in my mind

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Kennedy was shot in the head
by someone behind the grassy knoll.
People are afraid to believe that Americans are capable and willing to orchestrate a violent coup d'état of our own government.

If betting, I go with mafia after Feds agreed to turn a blind eye due to Bay of Pigs.
But Jackie would be my favorite theoretical longshot.
Motive: Marylin Monroe public humiliation topping off scores of others.
Means and opportunity: Alliance with LBJ
Also consider in a summer of 1963 before the assassination Jackie spent time with her next husband, Aristotle Onassis, on his yacht.
Oh yeah that marriage soured and he left her a widower, too.
She was an accomplished horsewoman and you don't become that by being a pushover.

There’s a nsfw Reddit post that shows the assassination in better detail than I’ve ever seen ( not that I wanted to see it). I’ll link it but it can be removed if necessary.
NSFW video link from Reddit
Never mind, it’s already been deleted

Was it a video or a picture?

Doesn’t matter who drove Hale Boggs to the airport. What matters is he disappeared over Alaska somewhere, and he was just about the only dissenting voice of stature on the Warren Commission’s conclusion.

He had two hits and one miss at a closer range and slower speed than people realize.
And remember his one miss hit the traffic signal causing the bullet to deflect and hit Tague. It used to bother me that his first shot was so wildly off-target (when it should have been the most on-target) until it was discovered that it hit the the traffic signal.

I always thought that because of the Bay of Pigs, Castro wanted JFK killed. Castro had intelligence in the US who recruited Oswald.

We went to Dealey Plaza a couple of weeks ago. It’s much smaller than it appears on film. Got drunk at a wedding and took some irreverent pictures at the x in the street in our tuxedos.
I was there about 10 years ago. At that time, the X was in the street, and we toured the museum. It was a very interesting afternoon, seeing everything in person.
They must have decided to put the X back, because I was told that shortly after our visit, they removed the X due to the traffic hazard of everyone wanting their picture taken standing next to it. It is possible that I just got some bad information. Does anyone know if it was ever removed?

The emergency room trauma surgeons all described a front entry wound. They know gunshots. This was deleted from the Warren report. There was a second shooter

You could see the when the first bullet hit and then see the right front of his head explode a few seconds later. It was tough to watch and caught me by surprise. I guess I wasn’t expecting to see that.

I read book about ten years ago which was published in the 60s. It has actual excerpts from the doctors testimony. The book didn't get into fbi/cia/mob theories. Just showed there was evidence of a second shooter that was ignored.

I remember my grandfather telling me that they had trained Cuban exiles on the Northshore. I forgot about that until someone mentioned it on this site awhile back in a discussion about the movie JFK. I always wondered if that old story was horseshite or not.
