I would say a dark situation (thus the lights)

One of my sons mounted his light bar to the bottom part of his grill. He uses it in the woods and around the lakes after dark. They are bright and are more than adequate!

If they go offroading at night it's ok.

If it's a lafayette grocery getter it's stupid

I have been angrily following this trend since its conception.

Started as an F250 thing around here. If you had a 250, you had to get a light bar on the roof no matter what the circumstance.

It then moved to every swinging dick in high school putting a cheap amazon light bar on the top of their piece of shite 94 silveraydo they got from their uncle raymond and aunt paulette.

It has now evolved to these fricks with their lowered honda civics having them.

Meh. I have a small one in my bumper. Helps a ton driving un-lit roads to camp.

The hate don't bother me

They pretty much guarantee you've at least masturbated to your sister.

The bumper lights are no big deal, subtle and useful. Its the 75" bars across the roof that are comical

Was that wrong? Should I not have done that?

They were originally made for the back so oil field workers could do night work off their truck beds.

People can't seem to resist turning them on while on the road around here.

I like how everyone is like "gotta have them for the woods and the camp" like they don't have working head lights with brights.

Had to look up what you're talking about.

From a distance, I've mistaken them for cops, Haven't seen too many. I'll start looking for them and probably see more.

They were made for off-road racing by companies that support off-road racing teams

Most of the people who have them probably have no legit need for them. They probably soak themselves in AXE body spray.
