I live in a house with three women and two are teenagers. I can ignore / tune out about anything. I did not know there was a mute button.

What's the point of leaving it running, aside from the noise and maybe getting to inhale exhaust for a minute or so? Seems dumb.

Sometimes I wish there was a mute button for people around me. That's a zoom feature I'm going to miss when we all go back to the office.

You serious clark? What exactly is the point of turning it off?! I don't hear any noise or smell any fumes while I'm sitting in my running vehicle. And if you stay outside you still have to deal with the gas fumes themselves.

With all the dumb arse safety crap on vehicles nowadays, if pumping gas was truly as dangerous as it use to be, vehicles would have an auto shutoff when the gas cap is activated.

I don't care that much. It's easy enough to ignore.

I sit in my truck with it running while gas pumps. I can control what I listen to and the climate...win win

I have a mental list of gas stations that one time didn’t refill paper for receipts causing me to go inside. And I never return to those locations. It’s completely irrational but it makes me happy.
What in the name of Wide World of Sports do you need a paper receipt in 2021?

Risk/Reward much? I'm spending as little time amongst the riff-raff as possible, and (in general) a gas station is a shitty place in Louisiana.

Last time I went to Carmel, this filling station was open for gas 24 hours even when the associated store was closed.

See what we can have when people behave?
