For as much shite as Millennials catch, and rightfully so, in a lot of ways they're much more practical than previous generations who felt tied to traditions and obligated to be uncomfortable and put on a show for everybody.
I bet you think shorts and a SaltLife button down are Sunday's best now too. Some things should stay traditional.

A friend of mine works for Slalom Consulting. They hooked him up with a very sharp Tumi backpack. I'd rock it all day long.

I have been wondering what is up with most of the millennials in my office building rocking backpacks.
It isn't just millenials. The CFO where I work just retired. He used a backpack. Most senior execs around here do too.

Figures that you have to wear diapers.

Maybe has something to do with this other phenomenon?

If you can fit the same stuff you would in a small suitcase/briefcase then why the hell not? It's much more practical to have two hands free.

I wear a backpack on the sports bike and the sports touring bike(in pic). Don't think it makes me less manly. Add in I'm diabetic so I need my supplies on me. So..op is dumb

You gotta find a good medium.
Honestly the only people I see wearing suits these days are i-bankers and lawyers. All of our uber-rich clients are usually wearing business casual.

WTH is this shat?! I’m a medical sales rep & use my Thule Subterra backpack daily for my laptop, tablet, phones, samples, etc. It’s extremely functional & looks great. The last thing I’d want to do is hand carry a damn briefcase through the airport. Lol!
