one top gear episode one of the guys drove a miata across the syrian desert.
That's ballsy. I'm pretty sure you still can be stoned in Syria for being gay.

That'd be Iran, KSA, and Qatar. You could still drink alcohol in Syria, the times I was there (late 2000s).

I have owned nothing but 4runners since I turned 16. They have all been excellent vehicles and not a single one has ever let me down. I hope they don’t turn them into a Pathfinder with the next model.

I can personally vouch for #'s 1-6, and #10.

I have an old style (1993) pathfinder that I keep at the farm to hunt out of. It has 315,000 miles on it. Original motor and transmission. The only thing wrong with it are the front auto hubs went out this past fall. I have ordered a replacement manual warn set but have not put them in yet. That little truck just keeps going.
I also have a 1998 z71 that has 290,000 miles. Same motor and transmission. If people dont rag things, change the oil on time and do the normal maintenance these vehicles will last a LONG time.
People who dont do scheduled stuff are the ones kill trucks. That and teenagers.
My brother in law does hydraulic maintenance for 3 different railroads and just retired his 2010 ram dually. It has 700,000+ miles and just had one transmission replaced in all that time. It still runs he just wanted something new.

Because you aren't still paying a note at 200k miles.

275,000 on my 04 Sequoia. Rides and drives almost as good as day 1. You can’t kill the dang thing.

Oh wow! Vehicles that hold the whole family plus cargo are more likely to have more mileage? Thats fricking shocking!

2,4,6 and 9 are like the same freaking vehicle.
I’ve got a Tahoe at 213k

It would take me 65 years. I put on just over 3,000 miles per year.

My 300D just went over 800k
I'm planning to get it to 1MM before retiring it.

I've owned 2 Rams and a Dakota and all 3 were solid vehicles.
By your own admission, you don't put many miles on a vehicle.
Rams are indeed better now than Rams/Dodges of the past BUT everything else got better too. They still are the undefeated champion in the race to the least dependable truck trophy.
