The lack of self-serve drink stations is the only bad thing about Chick-fil-A

Any idea why they don't let customers pour their own refills?
Posted on 8/28/18 at 6:52 am to GetCocky11
Yes BUT there’s always about 4 employees walking the floor willing to refill it for you

So they can push more ice

It probably saves money. Customers have 1-2 glasses of tea/coke instead of 3-4?

They don't want to be separated from the customers for any reason. Just another chance to show you how hard they work and to be polite to you....
Also why you constantly see someone walking around the dining room and cleaning it up...just another chance to say "Can I PLEASE take that for you," "THANK YOU for coming and have a great day" etc.
ETA: 2nd poster gets it! Always people hustling to help you with the refill

Customers are dirty and won’t keep the area clean.

If you're drinking coke or sweet tea, which I'm sure most of you lard asses are, you don't need a refill. They are doing you a public service.

It’s their pleasure to refill your drink for you.
Or so I’m told.
Or so I’m told.

I’m always still hungry when I leave a chick fil A. Love the place for the way they run things. My kids love it, but I feel like I’ve been robbed when I leave.

Odds that OP keeps fast food and gas station cups all day so he can sneak in and get a free drink later?

Just order a liter of cola at the counter and you won’t need a refill

Same here. I have to drop like 15-20 bucks to leave full. Their sammiches, though delicious, are just snack size.
(And no im not a fat arse. 34 waist.)
