Seems like it should be fairly easy to verify between call logs and dash cam footage.
This is correct. It isn’t the 1960’s where you can just say what you want. Dash cam tells it lights and siren are on. Black box in vehicle will tell speed and braking. GPS will yelp location and speed. There won’t be much guessing as to what happened.

What was his travel ball batting avg?
No unnecessary "y"'s so couldn't be more than .350.

No unnecessary Ys, no, but why on earth would you name your child Kaleb when it's spelled Caleb?

I see you left out the rest of the provision...I put the rest of the statute in so no one would be misled

What if it’s just an accident?
I’d be curious to see if the deceased were wearing seatbelts. That could be the lesson in all this.
That doesn’t happen with law enforcement in 2020. There are no accidents or mistakes allowed.

I had a friends neighbor tell me that LSP are big into illegal dog fighting. I believe it!

We have all seen the abuse of power of leo’s. They drive too fast, they give tickets for checking GPS at a red light, while having a full sized laptop mounted facing them, and they generally drive like they are above the law.
I know nothing of this accident, but it doesn’t surprise me. If this incident leads to them driving safer than they do now, I’ll be surprised, but it is the reasonable outcome.

Negligent homicide or involuntary manslaughter, is a crime often charged after a tragic accident involving a death. ... While murder is the most serious crime a person can face, the law carves out levels of severity for homicide charges.
But the charges have to meet statutory requirements. A death does not automatically result in charges.
Without the details, we have no idea if any charges are warranted.

Sucks that the dashcam stopped working the same day he was in this accident.

Typical Louisiana nepotism.
Totally inappropriate for high ranking law enforcement to have their kids in same organization.

So if the family member is previously working in the organization when the father gets promoted they should summarily fire all his relatives? That makes sense. What if the high ranking officer meets and wants to marry an employee of the organization? Does that person have to quit?
