Zeppelins/blimps are just a poor mode of transportation. I get why they were made back in the early 1900s but planes are better in pretty much every way.

"So, whether you're enjoying Excelsior's majestic vistas, duty-free shopping, high-stakes baccarat, dancing with your lovely wife, or even a cigar after a French gourmet dinner, you'll be enjoying them in style and safety. All aboard Excelsior!"

Yes, because they were gonna go down hard and fast.

Saw the motion picture in the theater when it came out.
It was one of the first DVD's I bought. It really didn't look that good.

My grandmother kept a day journal, and she happened to watch the Hindenburg fly over the day it crashed. She just simply wrote something like "saw airship Hindenburg flyover, learned of its tragic end later". Thought it was pretty cool.

I totally agree. How could anyone have survived that? It looked like it was totally engulfed in flames by the time it hit the ground.
There were 35 fatalities (13 passengers and 22 crewmen) from the 97 people on board (36 passengers and 61 crewmen), and an additional fatality on the ground.
