That's what is so annoying about Gravy's b.s. Basically, it's cool to waste tax payer money because it's "our turn" to waste it. Fricking idiot.

He might miss it but I'm fricking pissed. We have entirely too much got damn traffic on 73 and now this. This will be about 1/4 mile from my neighborhood and surely will bring the thugs closer. Our only hope is if they reject medicare/caid, but we all know that isn't happening.

For once I'll give Gravy a standing chance. Has Brave always been around ? And if so I'd bet it's been another abused program.
No surprise. What a terrible state this is.

When they audit the BRAVE program, I am sure that they will look at the entire existence. That way they can find out if there was misappropriation of funds before Broome or just during her term.

My opinion is the misappropriations occurred only under Broome.

the Feds rejected an extension of the program last month

Earlier this month, the federal government denied a request to extend funding for BRAVE, citing problems with the administration of the grant that began under former Mayor-President Kip Holden's leadership.

isn't really clear if they found problems prior to January or what

Exactly, I believe that is what this audit will make transparent.

working with the embarrassment that is silky slim isn't the same as paying him from a slush fund for your cronies.

No point in debating though. It's all bullshite and ignorance, throw race in there to smooth it all over.

Yeah, that's really ambiguous wording. Is that supposed mean the grant started with Kip or the problems started with Kip?

Our local media outlets are really taking a nosedive. Perhaps these editors should stop assuming that their 22 year old reporters are infallible at the keyboard and start reviewing their work.

BRAVE has been around since like 2011.

fricking THIS, man.

It's not the reporters, it's the lazy-assed incompetent eds making media a joke. A good editor will breed quality text as a byproduct, just by doing his/her job.

It's not rocket science. Jeez. I see more accurate content and syntax on the OT.

Occasionally.

I think it started in 2012, but that's not the issue. That is a terribly worded sentence.

2012...

the question is, based on the wording in the article, whether the feds noted problems that occurred before or after the broome administration, or both

Actually, scumbag Delagado smells blood in the water. Apparently he saw that post and was trying to team up with Denise because she said she wanted to go after the mayor. So Delgado is saying that he's cool with Denise saying that SS shouldn't be rebuked for what he said because it might help take out SWB. It's the same old "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" bullshite that always ends in fricking disaster for the general public.
