Correct me if I'm wrong, but if they get contracts for under 10k, they don't have to keep track of how their money is budgeted and aren't subject to audits, right?

I only know about the $17,500 threshold for whether or not council approval is required. Not sure about anything with not having audits or expense reports for under $10k. Need to do some witch hunting to find out

So is Silky Slim going to post the itemized breakdown
Do you really think he is intellectually capable of doing that, even if it were legitimate? I bet that idiot can't pass an 8th grade exit exam.

I thought i remember seeing the spreadsheet for these BRAVE programs and noticed that many of the contracts were in the $9400-9800 and $16900-17400 ranges.

We already know why a lot of contracts were in the $16,900 to $17,400 ranges. So you're probably right about the $10k audit threshold since it would explain why so there was a bunch of $9400-9800 range contracts.

A hospital?
Have you ever stepped foot in an ER and noticed 98% of the people in the waiting room? Most are trashy shite stains with a cold.

BATON ROUGE – At least six contracts associated with the BRAVE program have been suspended, WBRZ Chief Investigator Chris Nakamoto has learned.
The contracts in question are tied to controversial deals made with Mayor Sharon Weston Broome's administration. The contracts are part of a group that have been questioned since contract values are under amounts that don't require metro council approval. The issue was the focus of a WBRZ Investigative Unit report on Monday.
At least one of the contracts in question was given to a person on the mayor's transition team after she won the mayoral election last year.
The specific ones suspended have not been released.
Any future contracts will have to be reviewed and approved by the mayor and authorized by her or the city's chief administrative officer.

Yeah, I get that people abuse emergency rooms, but it's not like the dregs of society are going to move to Prairieville now. You're making it seem like this is going to be the downfall of AP. Having an emergency room that close will boost property values and stimulate economic growth. Just seems like a strange thing to get upset about.

There has been more than enough growth along that route. Until our frickhead of a parish president figures out how to remove his dicksucker from the developers' collective dicks and how to improve infrastructure to the point that it supports what we need now, growth is a bad thing in the area.
I guess it could be worse though, I could still live in BR.
