A lot of this horseshite can be blamed on Capitalism run amok. The human body is the next frontier to be colonized and commoditized. Sell more hormones, more fake tits... sell an iOS device attached directly to your brain.

Maybe Capitalism is just too damned good at making money. Think of the money to be made collaborating with the Chinese, or with wealthy transhumanists like Jennifer Pritzker or that Martine Rosenblatt lunatic. Think of the power and temptation that money buys now.

Never paid a cent for school over 4 degrees. Worked throughout school, and spent a half-decade working in a hospital before getting my MD/Ph.D. Sorry you don't like me cursing. Honestly, I've been posting the same way for over a decade. On the Tiger Rant, I called people names all the time. It's only after I pointed out how stupid some of the anti-vax talking points were in a very narrow scope of immunology that people got very annoyed, and projected every thing they disliked on me, regardless of the content and whatever nuance I bring about a subject I know extremely well. Now I definitely play into being annoying because it's funny. I even like Rogan when he's doing his MMA stuff and can listen to snippets, especially when he talks to fighters. But when he talks to certain other people, I find it grating and annoying.
