Seeing reports that parts of Denham Springs that have never flooded are flooding. This is looking like a worst case scenario...

Per Wunderground:
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
Turn around... don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
Seriously, don't drown? Gee, thanks!

Reason 17,562 North La > South La
We have hills for the water to run down, into a creek, lake, river.

I saw some people posting on facebook off of Arnold showing shite they had never seen before with water.
I guess a lot still depends on how much it rains north of Dehnam and pushes water down the Amite.

Here's what I need to know, I live in hammond and the flooding in the spring came less than an inch from entering my home. Is this going to be more or less rain than the spring?
Posted on 8/12/16 at 9:51 am to Klark Kent
Well...except for the flooding today

Yeah, I'm wondering if it's going to be worth it to drive to NOLA today.
