I'm remembering back to the 83 flood and what happened in the jones creek area. I keep thinking about the massive amount of development that took place out there the last 30 years and all that compounds the flash flooding problems. With these river velocities and rapid rise, debris at the bridges can start to complicate things. We have a long couple of days ahead of us.

I don't think we will get 15-20 more inches of rain. I would think more along the lines of 3-5 inches.

What if God was like " the people in BR have had enough, time to taper this off. Wait, what's that? Peej is calling for an end to it? Well then, let's double down"

Per WAFB, Fountain Bayou rising fast so homes around staring/burbank are in a rising risk of flooding.

Also that area where Dawson Creek meets Staring is apparently horribly flooded.

I can confirm that streets in this area are at risk bc the sewers are backed up regurgitating back into the streets so if bayou fountain goes then theres no hope for drainage.

another 15-20inches of rain for BR in what time frame? WTF. If it rains that much idc where you live in BR you're going to be impacted

The models are currently showing a range from 5 to 15" but no one can say for sure what will be correct. The only thing that seems certain is that there is still a potential for heavy rain for most areas basically west of 55 over the next 24 hrs. Stay safe down there.
