Does anyone know if Hwy 431 is open to Hwy 429? Thanks

if you download the Louisiana 511 app on you phone all of these road closure questions will be answered.

I-10 is open. Some of the hospital staff in N.O. drove in from B.R. this morning, and are heading back the same way now.

Great, thank you!

Does anyone here know of any resources available for sandbag removal? We sandbagged a house that did not receive any water and would like to get them removed. After the thousands of sandbags I've handled over the past three days, I will be useless for a little while.

Oh wow. Didn't know that existed. That will help me so much given my job. Thanks!

At the fire station I went to the volunteers who helped me load my vehicle with sand bags offered to come to my house to help put them out. If there are still places making sandbags, maybe you can find the reverse help.

Dab Vicks Vapo Rub on you nose, around the openings. If you have a face mask, can put some on that too. That's used in hospitals.

This is extremely low on the list of priorities. You are going to be stuck with those sandbags for a while.
