Any of the flooding in the Sorrento and Gonzalez making its way to the I10? Would suck after Bayou Manchac campedout on it for a few days.

I am curious what I-10 looks like around Maurepas Swamp and where Blind River crosses. It was high yesterday at the AP line

I am switching to WBRZ coverage. WAFB has just been replaying old crap since the switch at 3:00. Too many human interest type stories and nothing current.

We went in on Maurice, and only went to his house and back. It's such a fricking mess everywhere over there. Pretty much everything east of 431 is under.

So to make sense out of what the water is doing or where it's going-if that's possible.. Is it just all moving south in some general controlled manner or is it strictly at the mercy of every ditch, creek, canal, and river en route to maurepas, the ponch and then the gulf
Not to sound insensitive, I'm really hoping for the best in the southern parishes.

Anyone heard about the Crawford Rd area in Gonzales?
I have some distant family down there and they're not wanting to leave. How is it? Getting any worse?
TIA

Anyone have any info on if water is starting to recede in prairieville. Does anyone know if 42 is passable (by cvs, mccrorey rd etc)
Posted on 8/16/16 at 7:05 pm to Rollwave034
Yes it's passable on Mccrory. From leblancs to airline and probably all the way down to walmart
There is no water on Mccrory 1 now

42 still has some water over it just before Joe Severio.

Any updates to Beco Rd. South of Gold Place and North of Stringer Bridge? Brother lives on dead end street (Teal Ave). They can't get back yet but assuming 5'+ water in house.

I put eyes on Teal. It's under for sure... 5' is possible
Teal ends just to the right of this picture... that's the end of Edna Delaune if you want to look it up on a map

We live down teal. We had 3 feet in our house as of 10:00 am. Every house except the one on the corner of blue teal (the ridiculously high one) and maybe a few of the newest ones down there have at least that much in them I'm sure.

I have a friend that is just across Stringer Bridge Rd. on Beco. He had 2-3' in it this morning. Can't comment about the current state but I'd definitely think he got significant water in his house.

how's the area near the corner of bluff road and hwy 74 looking? I'm hearing people in that area think they might get some flooding now?
