Just drove through Fairhill at 3:00 and still dry. Bluebonnet Mai. Drag still dry and no overtopping.

It's possible some homes may be getting a little water near the entrance of subdivision (among lowest parts of neighborhood) but 99% of homes in Springlake/Fairhill were fine 10 minutes ago.

I really think the overtopping of Alligator Bayou Rd. helped out Springlake/Fairhill.

Creeping backflow still in play at main lake but over past 18 hours only about 2" higher max.

Hi Neighbor.

Been watching this canal in the back yard...so far in the past 16 hours, nothing has changed. A lot of news being reported around this area, but after driving the area several times (along with others on here), I haven't seen any change since yesterday.

if the leeve issues are true Spring Lake and Gardere may be in trouble because they are both are lower than the other subdivisions (UC / Nicholson Lakes / there is one more i cant think of) back there that have access from nicholson.

Springlake/Fairhill Update: Saw a post on this forum about evacuation. Let us be aware of rumors.
All dry here. I live in Springlake (Fairhill) side. Storm drain an inch higher than last night but all dry. Unless there is a backflow of 6 inches plus and no rain, roads should not fill. Some houses on the south near Burbank soccer park have water creeping in backyards. Some houses on eastern most side have similar issues.

Water from Burbank park is being diverted by Burbank Walmart to Fairhill's easternmost lake.

Nothing to worry here so far due to backwater (I think). All clear.

St Amant Update:
Virtually everything East of 431 flooded
Starting to flood bad West of 431, but mostly just along 431.( this was not the case at 11:30 am) Hwy 431 is open from 621 south to Airline. Cannot go North on 431 from 621.

St Amant High School parking lot is under water- not in buildings yet.
On Church Point Road there is water coming from the south and east. Starting to flood.

Weber City Road is passable from 431 to Airline, but water is close to the road at points.

Went by yesterday because I have a lot of my stuff there. I'm towards the back and have 2' as of yesterday around 2:00. Think it increased since then.

No increase at Bayou Fountain in the back of Summerwood subdivision. Still flowing the right direction.

quote: Update: Burbank/Nicholoson dry Burbank/Gardere dry The water was at the same levels at Bluebonnet btw Burbank and Highland. Burbank/Highland still barricaded off headed towards Soccer fields. That area appears to be at same. No change to Ward Creek at Siegen. Best news, Fountaine is slowly flowing in the right direction. I am no expert but based on this last rounds observations, I think we are getting past the rising waters in these locations. Were you able to check out Brightside View?

Sorry could not check that area.

Someone mentioned levee issues. I would like to understand what are these issues. The way springlake/Fairhills is right now, it looks out of this city. Almost no signs of flooding. It will need a catastrophic failure to flood this area.

So the E. Holly/Firethorn houses got that much water too?
The water was at probably 4' to 4 1/2' but it is down to about 30" now.
