I pay $40 a month for my T-Mobile no contract plan. More data than I've ever used and it works perfect.

Would this be to allow water levels to continue to go down?

I'm no expert, but yeah pretty much. I would not be trying to come into BR right now if you don't have to. It's just unnecessary.

She lives off of burbank near staring in the Pelican Lakes area. Her roommate was picked up last night and hasn't been back. I am off of Corporate near izzo's. Can anyone provide updates on these areas?

I used to live in Pelican Lakes. I texted my old roommate to see how it is, but he hasn't texted me back yet. From when I drove by yesterday, the parking lot was still dry but the entrance was impassible by car. The new DR Horton homes in the back may be screwed though.

I drove down Corporate yesterday and it was dry as a bone.

I understand not being able to evacuate people's pets. However, I'd tell them take my family, the dog and I will swim to safety. No way I could leave my little man behind. Probably drown doing it but oh well. Darwinism would take me and I'm okay with that.

ETA: pic yesterday after we somehow got out in time. Had to pull over and breathe after having water to my window. Trading the car in pronto.

True, although I'd probably stay and drown with my dog.

alright. but I felt it would have more sting power.

either way pets are not important in the grand scheme. its the owners fault for not having their own boat.

Supernovasky --

Can you post images from the Ward Creek flood gauges, and then for people who can't seem to find it post a link of where you are looking for that info?

My concern again is Ward Creek backflowing into Bayou Duplantier and Dawson Creek.

BR is a clusterfrick right now. Things will settle down some once the water starts to go down, which is hopefully throughout the day today. Wait until tomorrow so travel is easier, and youre not possibly getting in the way of rescue efforts.

I would really like to hear from people around Ward and Fountain. People keep saying Ward is rising.

Will we experience back flooding until the Amite at French Settlement crests?

Claycut is back fed by Amite - Ward is by Manchac, which is still rising over the interstate.

You realize that they both enter the amite right? their entrance to the amite is only like 2 miles apart. It doesn't matter that it is in Manchac

If ward's creek is still rising, it is likely from some other reason than backflow or its the tail end of backflow given what is happening in claycut.
