I'm in Briarwood. The big pond in the subdivision drains to ward creek. I've been watching the water all day. It's risen very very little since this morning.
The big drainage area between briarwood and woodridge hasn't moved either, which is connected to the pond.
I checked it about 15 minutes ago and it looked near the same as it did about two hours ago.

Howdy Nieghbor. In woodridge. The pond is at normal levels all day today. Yesterday, however, it was looking bad.

This was yesterday.

Do you know If any particular sides or areas took more water? We were towards middle, in center of building. Maybe a little towards left since we entered from left side if looking at the buildings from airline.

I was there from 9-6 off and on. When we left water was almost knee high. Our units were 532 & 548. The front wasn't as bad but was starting to take on water. First few units were still dry at 6pm but water was still rising.

I'm in units 532 & 548 on the Anytime Fitness side. Was almost knee deep when I left at 6-6:30pm. Not sure on the other side. Appears to be about same from what I could see. Backed the 4Runner in through the gate all the way to door 6. Water was almost inside 4Runner when we left.

Imagine a straight line from mall of Louisiana to LSU lakes. It snakes behind Pennington. All those areas are in the way if backflow continues

I'm actually surprised Iberia, Lafayette, Vermillion, and Acadian parishes weren't on the federal aid list at the moment.

I'm pretty sure Youngsville will end up with the some of, if not the highest rain totals from the entire system.

Where in Ascension do you live? I just moved into a house in Fountain Hill on Tuesday. Looking at the flood maps the front and back of the neighborhood has an elevation between 8-14ft. My house is towards the middle with an elevation of around 25ft. Im pretty sure we will be fine, but it is nerve racking being we havent even unpacked everything yet.
