Currently, Backwater flooding is working its way up. It has not made it's way completely to the Lee/Highland area yet, but it's heading that way.
Yep. Crazy how this backflow is probably going to make it all the way back to campus. Just can't determine how long it will take to get to that area.

Me too. Just went for a run Bluebonnet Terrace/Jefferson Terrace. We probably passed. I had on the '"Save Les Miles" t-shirt.
That front street is looking pretty sketchy. The water might be on Danbury soon.

I'm in Jefferson Terrance right now as well staying at a family members house... It's the newer development off of quater rd. So far dry here, but keeping a close eye out... Not familiar with the drainage situation in this area

Highland club would be flooding from Clay Cut.
Highland Club would be the first to see water come in and the first to see it go out. What's the water level doing there? It could help everyone upstream know what to expect.

National coverage is non-existant. Guess not enough loss of life to warrant reporting.
It isn't being covered much nationally at all. I know because I just canceled several flights I had for this week, and none knew of our situation. AA even refused to waive the $200 fee as of right now.

I've seen sheriffs and parish leaders on my TV but none from EBR
Most other parish officials probably have more free time.

Yes. Friend of mine came from coursey...down sherwood, turned right onto harrells ferry to the entrance of woodland ridge. This was 2 hrs ago.

S Harrels Ferry is passable from Sherwood to just before Jones Creek, so you should be able to get to Woodland Ridge without a problem.

I wish I could help, but my buddy is the one there and I can barely get in touch with him. He has his wife and two small kids with him. I wish he would have left last night like I asked him to, but he said his wife insisted on staying.

Ward Creek is DEFINITELY back flowing at highland near healing place.
Water coming out of storm drains in front of healing place and ABC. Both sides of highland.
One lane will be impassible soon.
Don't know if both will
