No pics, but it is the right side of the neighborhood, which backs up to Albertsons... people are out surveying their properties, that's how i know it's knee high
The back is also holding water, I didn't drive down the main street cuz people have parked their cars all along the median and are walking around, the less traffic the better I feel
The front seems fine except for the side that backs up to Albertsons

I'm located south of Highland just west of ccla, the back of my land is right at Bayou Fountain. I can confirm the water has been rising this am. About 10-12 inches since daylight, the water is near the 15-16 foot elevation mark now.

Supernolvasky: FYI, IN laws at Millerville and I12 says the water hasn't risen since this morning.

Backwater flooding on Bayou Fountain is imminent
Any guess on how much higher it will go? In my uneducated guess, another 1 to 1.5 feet puts water in the houses on this side of the street.

Thanks for the update. I have a rental property on Stonehaven in there, and I had not had a chance to make it over there yet.
At least most of those houses are 3-4' off the ground. Not sure how the elevation is for the houses in the back.

Is the Camelot front entrance as bad?
additionally, what is the gauge for water level of that area?

Anybody have any photos, maps of flooding in Prairieville? Has there been any problems in that area?

Im not there, just receiving that pic of WR from inlaws. They did say that whole area is inundated due to Jones Creek, incl areas of Camelot/WR.

That doesn't surprise me, they are on one of the most northerly watersheds, the Honey Cut one. They have already crested.

Jones Creek at Old Hammond for Camelot
The Amite River gauges at Denham and Bayou Manchac will also give you an idea.

No photos. But there is zero water in the swamp road area.

All the area around Old Perkins/Bluff up to Airline is completely normal. We're pretty high here, around 30 feet or so. Lots of the low lying areas off of Airline are flooded. The fireworks stands and feed store right by Bayou Manchac are completely underwater. I have friends over on 73 near I-10 and all is well there

My brother rents a house on winterhaven in there. Haven't been able to get in touch with him. Anybody got an idea or some picks of how it's looking over there?
