I got some friends at Highland and Lee, will they be okay or do they need to leave?
I'm in the same area. No water. Long way to go before it gets above Highland.

Some of those huge houses on Highland (that back up to Burbank) that built on the low ground might have some issues.

What does Oneal look like near LA Boiler Seafood?

Our Vet clinic is right there and it's getting close to taking in water. We can't get to it, but the other owners can.

I found wifi! Water was almost to the top of the clay cut drainage at bluebonnet and Jefferson when I left this morning. It was barely moving backwards instead of a steady backwards flow like last night. Apparently all was very dry at the barn this morning, but muddy creek runs right behind it. Water inching closer to the barn now. Hanging out there this afternoon.

I don't trust that.

I just don't know. Best bet is to find some on-the-ground info about where the water level is nearby, then compare to a contour map.

The Great Flood of 2016: Backwater Flooding Occuring (8/14/16)
Street flooding is happening in Jeffereson Terrace currently

Current flooding situation:

Right now the flooding has just reached Jefferson Terrace. This is the END of Clay Cut so I have to imagine extensive flooding is about to occur along the entire length of Clay Cut.

Bayou Fountain is next, it's got to be.

Grit's link is a great one.

Can get river levels and forecast crests as well as individual gauges.

Unfortunately they do not provide forecasts for s lot of these individual gauges.

Ha, thankfully I sold my house one month ago. The neighborhood is good from what I hear. My storage unit flooded with the contents of my house. Just about everything we had

Rain dropping in the area, not sure any will park over Baton Rouge but they are capable of dropping an inch or two.

Hey guys, first post in this thread. Any predictions for Dutchtown? I'm just south of Old Mill. Waters reached halfway up the driveway yesterday but have receded down to just the streets now.

Any idea what will happen in Dutchtown with the Bayou Manchac backflow?
