Few corrections... Sun's light is about 8 min away.

Andromeda crashing into our Galaxy will have almost zero affect on our solar system unless the middle passes over our spiral arm. The analogy is if our solar system was the size of a pea and you throw it into the Pacific ocean, the chance of you getting close to another pea, even though there are billions of peas, is tiny. Space is big!!

Yes, but there will be almost no actual collisions between celestial bodies because everything is so spread out.
