Toots was great. Never complained even when she would go a couple weeks without pay. She would just make a Sassy comment to my dad/mom.

Granted it wasn’t the 1950s but I had a AA women who helped raise me in the 80s. Toots was great. Never complained even when she would go a couple weeks without pay. She would just make a Sassy comment to my dad/mom. She did everything for us- cooked, baby sat, mowed the lawn.. hell she ever scooped our cat litter. We would always joke that we would only have her worlds famous greens the same day she mowed our lawn.. she got a kick out of that

Ok...i understand.

Your family is trash.

Who doesn't pay their employees?

The McDonald’s on Nickelson is the worst. I’ve been there twice in my life and it’s the two worst experiences I’ve had at a fast food joint. The last time I literally could not understand the girl taking my order. Came this close to asking her if she’s speaking English.

Here’s a tip: instead if sitting in a drive thru for an hour, try getting off your arse and going inside, it goes way faster.

9 times out of 10, of you go inside and get your food to go, you’ll be back in your car on your way before you would have even placed your order in the drive thru.

I haven’t had any issues at this Chick-fil-A either... so

I would say the 50s were pretty ideal.. they had fast food. What has changed between now and then?

When stand on your soap box then you should make sure and know the difference between “higher” and “hire” so you don’t look like a dumbass.

I wouldn’t mind picking up some chicks at Chick-fil-A and getting my pleasure on.

Maybe if we as a society held people to a hire standard we’d be in a much better place.

Lol

uch better place.. instead of “being too cool to care about fast food service”

Fast food has long been the province of teens. This board would be the first to tell you fast food isn’t a career.

You are ridiculous.

Do the right thing and narc to the GM who probably handles numerous locations for a restaurant group. You’d be surprised how quickly shite gets sorted out

I never had any issues at that CFA but this thread reminds me how much I don’t miss College Drive. Jesus H. what a mess. Literally would take a fricking hour to get from Perkins to Corporate sometimes

Traffic has been a shite show on that road for 25 years. I generally avoid it unless it's 8pm or later. Essen on the other hand flows fairly nicely now for the most part.
