Just an insane moment in history.
It was insanity. Like a worldwide Milgram experiment and we indeed learned most of the population will do whatever the “experts” tell them. I wonder how many have learned that making decisions out of fear, or coercion that it's for the “greater good”, or maybe just so you can just get back to living your life normally, might be a terrible mistake?
Complying to authoritarians is a road to tyranny.

I was in my mid-40s when it “hit” and had a not-yet 2yo and we had a second child in the middle of it. I was a couple years out from chemo for stage iv lymphoma so had legitimate questions about how my body would take CV. We lived in one of the most liberal neighborhoods in the South.
I innately went into a survival (not of the virus but of the reaction) mode I hadn’t really expected. We visited family, camped on the beach, went to Montana for the summer, bought a house in one of the most conservative counties in the country sight unseen, nicely told anyone who told me what to do with my family to GFY. I got CV in Jan 2021 and was on call for monoclonal anitbodies if things had gone south. They didn’t. It was a mid-grade cold.
The whole thing is a blur now, but the end result and the experiences in the process were net positive for our family

Gaslighting and pretzel logic became the norm during covid. One big psyop that either broke people or gave alot of folks hurd immunity to government and media sponsored bs. The fallout from this event will be with us for years to come.
I have always been skeptical but covid pretty much made skepticism and distrust of government as my default mode.

In some ways for me and my wife being home was a blessing.
Our son had just turned 1 when lockdown occurred .
Both of us didn’t have to worry about job security, we were the opposite and our companies realized our true value and since have reaped the benefits.
It also allowed us to spend much more time with our son that perhaps we would not have gotten if we both would have been at the office / in front of clients .
The biggest draw back was I do feel we missed a good year of activities a normal 1-2 year old would do zoo, kids museum etc.
It wasn’t that my wife and I were afraid to go out at all . We just didn’t want our first memories of some experiences to be in masks etc.

I used to wonder pre-2020 how humans ever allowed the Holocaust to take place. I don’t wonder anymore. We live amongst a vast number of sheep, MANY who post on this very board. If you dared to question “the message,” they’d surely let you know what a terrible person you were.

The only two people I know who actually died from COVID had serious underlying health issues to begin with and it was the final straw for them.
I came down with it twice according to the test kits available at the time and both times it was like a very mild case of the flu that lasted a week or so before testing negative. The first time I got it one of my relatives recommended taking the RX called Paxlovid. I wasn't feeling especially bad but thought, "Why not" maybe it will get rid of it quicker.
The only thing it got rid of quicker was anything I ate with unreal diarrhea and I stopped taking it ASAP.
Yeah, it was a crazy time for sure with insanely stupid rules and guidelines the idiots who bought into it initiated.
Here's some numbers to ponder:
Age 0-17 death rate was 0.015%
Age 18-49 was 0.15%
Age 50-74 was 2.3%
Over age 75 was 17%
So, well over 97% of the population that got COVID survived-----BUT, BUT it was a horrible pandemic............and we should STILL be getting vaccines according to some of the idiots out there.

I recently ordered a copy of THE PFIZER PAPERS,It’s an analysis of the Pfizer documents (the one they wanted to wait 75 years to release)
Federal, judge ordered them to release it.
It will really piss you off.
Pfizer knew within 3 months the vaccine did not stop Covid.
Pfizer knew the lipid nanoparticles did not remain in the deltoid muscle as claimed, rather it crossed every membrane in the body, into every organ of the body including the brain.
Pfizer knew by Feb 28,2021 the injection was linked to numerous adverse events.
Pfizer, knew by April,2021 the injection damaged the hearts of young people.
Too much to cover in a post.
Pfizer is a criminal organization.I knew that already from the Bextra episode,it’s a,big reason I didn’t take it.
Only satisfaction I guess I get out of it is knowing I was right,to be skeptical.
I would hope, the multiple TD Drs,that were shilling for the vaccine and ridiculing those of us that argued against it do some soul searching and self reflection and realize they are not as smart as they think they are because “they went to medical school”.

I see it as a dress rehearsal for authoritarianism. The elites were going to find out exactly how much control the public would tolerate. They made the wrong bet, and now people are coming back to their senses.
If people were coming back to their senses, we wouldn’t have elected the authoritarian that was there when this all started.

I don’t know about y’all’s but I appreciate LSU letting me put up a picture of me in my Tiger Stadium seat for the year and only charging a small fee to defer my season tickets for a year.
Then letting me in the next season with a proof of vaccination card.
Geaux Tigers!!

It's amazing how folks like you project the authoritarian angle so much. Only one party was telling us we'd lose our jobs if we didn't get the jab, only one party was saying to stop caring so much about your rights.
Are you brainwashed?

Nobody is holding China responsible because SARS-CoV-2 was engineered at UNC Chapel Hill by Ralph Baric with $60M he got from Anthony Fauci. Baric gave the virus to Peter Daszak of EcoHealth Alliance for transportation to Wuhan Institute of Virology for testing. The level one containment lab from which the virus "escaped" was constructed by a French biotech firm led by Stephane Bancel. Bancel would subsequently become CEO of Moderna Corporation. Bancel quit Moderna after cashing in for $1B helping to crash the stock.
Never forget that over 30,000,000 died needlessly from a medical misadventure that was either accident or intentional. The excess expected death rate is higher now than it was when people were dying from acute COVID. In the third quarter of 2021 doctors began finding late stage colon cancers in the young. Young people are dropping dead from sudden heart attacks like never before. I've seen true reports of grade school children dying from strokes and heart attacks.

Fly through Seattle or Portland and you still see the masks. It broke a lot of people permanently. I didn't play Covid back then and I wouldn't do it now.
And JBE, FTSCS. Smacking on TV every day telling us not to worry about our rights and scolding us for going places. The government literally tracked our movements on a widespread level and no one talks about it. The cellular companies handed that shite over on a silver platter.

Ah yes, the “super spreader” events that only happened to people wearing red hats but if you were being a good boy at a Saint George rally then you didn’t need to worry about that.
