I grew up on a Cotton farm. My grandmother and her siblings picked cotton by hand and were share croppers.
By the time I came along, obviously there was agricultural machinery, so I never picked it by hand, but I worked my arse off on that farm, even as a child.
These people can frick off.

Ignoring it would be best - giving them a platform and conforming is the problem

That was back when Americans ruled the nation. Now we have libtard domestic enemies.

People who are horrified at the sight of cotton should read their clothing labels.

My great grandfather cut sugarcane after arriving from Italy, what can I be offended by? I'm feeling left out.

Are my jeans and t-shirts now racist too?

My mom and her siblings picked cotton in the 40's. People now a days have to find any excuse to be a victim.

How many aggies does it take to throw a cotton ball 100 feet?

TJG210: makes you think that we had progressed pass all this till Obama got elected, then DEI, then people like Crocket got elected now everything is front and center. Unfortunately we have regressed!

My “white” mother picked cotton, everyone in the family had to work.
Mine did as well…her brothers and sisters too, as well as my grandparents. I’ve still got some old cotton sacks that they used.
ETA: Mechanical cotton pickers were not widely available until the 1950

My parents grew up picking cotton as children. They would laugh at any claims of racism.

True. But they weren’t slaves who were forced to do it for no pay.
That said, the whole “cotton bowl is racist” that comes up every year is dumb.
The gasparilla bowl, though, now that’s a different story. Don't get me started on that shite.

Shhhh. The liberals and wokers don’t want sheep to know that.
