I loved this show so much. Redd Foxx's mannerisms and even his walk were so similar to my own grandfather that I made some association with the two, made me love it that much more.

Im no music historian, but i believe the Jackson family patriarch , Joe Jackson, had the Jacksons (inc Michael) performing from a very early age.. was Quincy involved at that point ? Becuase, and im talking in the late 1960s, there was indeed a Michael Jackson.. im asking if Quincy was involved from the jump, b/c i genuinely dont know .

What's really crazy to me about the song is that it really sounds like about 3 or 4 separate songs going on at once. How the hell does someone create a song like that. Now it's stuck in my head!
Also, that was one of my grandfather's favorite shows. I remember it would be on o Saturday nights, around 6 or 7 pm. When that theme song started, you better shut the hell up. I miss that old man!
