Yep, free, and they were glad to have our little Slidell radio station pitch a tent on the grounds to promote the festival.

That was a lo-o-ong time ago.

late 90s.., $10. But no big national acts back then... most of the music was... get this... jazz music!! With some local rappers thrown in.

i remember my friends in high school (98-02) bitching about them being around 20 bucks. i get them for free with tickets to the miller tent. OT ballers never pay to get into anything.

Interesting, because back in the 90's when I went to Jazz Fest...Dave Matthews, Sheryl Crow, George Clinton and the P Funk where performing on the big stage.
