$15 sticker price.

I didn't pay most years. Volunteered at a beverage booth and got in for free.

Cheapest I remember is the $15 ticket.

Blue Traveler, Meters, Paul Simon...I want to say those were some names they'd had that year.

I think $35 was the single day price when I started going in high school.

By senior year, I was getting free passes to the festival and the Miller tent. The guy my sister knew that worked for miller would bust out the 16 oz aluminum cans after the tabs on the bracelet ran out. Great times.

Eta:
Looks like they were $25 back then.

The ticket prices don't bother me when I have to pay. Your bigger arena acts are that price or higher.

Th fcking beer prices is what is starting to piss me off.
We run a beer booth for a school and the amount of money we get for each beer sold is tiny.
Tips make us a lot.
Two years ago then went from $4 to $5 for a fcking 12oz can of crap beer. There goes a lot of tips.
This year it's $6 a can.
Now more than ever people are sneaking their own shite in and I don't blame the.

Prices are out of hand imo. I won't go unless my miller rep gives me tickets and passes to the Miller lite tent. I hear more and more locals refusing to go. If I was an organizer I'd come up with a local gimmick. Maybe your pass is 10 bucks cheaper but you get a badge that identifies you as a local. That way you can thumb your nose at the tourists. That's what people really want to do.
