Nah. LDH just put out something on the daily dashboard about even though the vaccine does essentially nothing to protect against infection it supposedly provides people over 12, 10times better odds of survival from Covid if you are vaccinated (14x if over 50). Of course they provided no data backing up that claim.
ETA: I find the above hard to believe since the vaccination status of the recorded deaths have been hovering around 50% unvaccinated (recently the deaths for closer to 40% unvaccinated) since Omicron hit at the end of 2021.

Of all the numerous people I know who have gotten covid at some point over the last 2 years (which is essentially everyone I know) only ONE claims to suffer from "long covid". Shockingly, having "penchant for drama and constant neurosis" is EXACTLY how I would describe her.

The vaccine was designed to help boost your immune system to fight the disease and lower your risk of transmitting the disease if and when you get it....because biology.
As the disease evolved the original vaccine became less and less effective at lowering the risk of retransmission.
I've never understood why people struggle with this concept. Did the CDC frick up communication of what it was intended to do? Sure. Does that change it's intended effect? No.

They didn't claim it lowered the risk. They claimed there would be no risk.
